Small Business.
Marketing Your Small Business is a company that was
formed to help other smaller businesses deal with
their marketing in a cost effective and efficient
way.
Most Small Businesses simply do not have the time to
spend on marketing, and often end up wasting
money. How many times have you done an exhibition
for example, managed to accumulate lots of business
cards, only to not follow them up?
You see, Marketing is not a wait and see
game, hoping that someone might just give you
a call, its about getting out there and get
talking to your prospects and customers. Just being
at the exhibition
is not enough, you've paid for the stand, you've paid
for the stand to be manned, you've paid for all the
handouts and
brochures you need, but what did you do with all

The
answer should be "Followed up with a covering

One of the most powerful marketing resources we

wasn't such a great issue if you didnt have one. But
now, everyone deals with email, asks for more
information, asks for the website address. It needn't
cost hundreds of pounds however, and the graphics
intense, slow loading websites are a waste of time,
as people tend to browse elsewhere if they have to
wait for it to load. So we recommend a website full
of content, one that can be found on the search
engines, and one that gives all the information that a
potential customer may need.

customers, or for creating invoices on and obtaining
that professional look.

One of the great marketing messages I once saw
was a small sticker, planted underneath a pint glass.
As you got the end of your pint, you got to read the
sticker which said "Need a Taxi ? Call 01793 333111
now"
Is that a great idea or what? Just as
you may well need a taxi, the number for one is right
there for you, great timing to push your
product.
If you owned your own pub or bar,
you could sell this space as prime advertising
space.
You could do something
similar, if
you can get friendly with your local publican/wine
bar/ nightclub, and if you have a relevant
product.
Another idea is to actually create
the beermat your drink will sit on. Easy to distribute,
cheap to produce, a nice easy way to get your
message out.
1,250 beermats will cost around £190+vat, or full
colour at around £236+vat.
